I price my work based on size these days, so that you what you pay is not beholden to how quickly or slowly either of us work. That being said, I often work fairly quickly and because of this, my sizes are often slightly different from what my clients think of as “small” or “large”. We can get a lot done in a day- for instance, for this piece the client arrived at 1pm, we fully drew it on their body and tattooed it, and we were out the door by 6:30, with about 4 hours of active tattooing. Work with black fill will take longer, and full or half sleeves with a lot of black fill may require two or more sessions.

I think of pieces as falling into two categories. Something specific and detailed like this is complex, and something abstracted like this is more loose. This affects pricing as much as size, so its a factor worth considering for what you are interested in.

As you may notice, my ranges below are wide; this is partially because of sliding scale, and partially just because pricing my work is sometimes really challenging. The prices below are meant to act as a guideline for what your piece may cost before you reach out- then, once we get into specifics together, I’ll confirm what range your piece falls into. Your budget factors into this consideration.

Once you have that quote, the price never changes even if what we do takes longer or is more challenging than I expect. On occasion I will have overestimated how complex or large something is and will reduce the price after we finish, but never the other way around. The only time a price will be raised is if you ask for a major change in the moment, like adding a significant amount of work by changing the size drastically (like from phone sized to paper sized, for example), where we both understand the change in price before committing to it.

I deeply appreciate those who pay on the higher end so that people who need to pay on the lower end can do so.

I prefer not to do "mini" pieces of 1-4 inches, but sometimes they happen. I can do mini pieces for a guest who is accommodating someone getting something larger, or as an addition to something else you’re getting.

I’m always open to payment plans if that works better than up front, paid in installments either before or after our session. I’m also open to some forms of trade. I’d always rather do something cool than be a stickler about money- so if we meet each other openly and honestly, I know we can find something that feels good for both of us.

I can’t wait to hear from you, and thanks ♡

loose

s m a l l $150 - 250

Smaller abstraction that is wispy, loose. May be long and even span a limb, but is fairly simple.

m e d i u m $350 - 500

An upper chest, back piece, or larger piece that is wispy and sparse. Half limb doesn't mean that its limited to half of your limb like your bicep or forearm, just more that we aren't trying to cover a ton of your limb even if we span a large distance.

complex

s m a l l $200 - 300

Hand sized or smaller flash. Getting multiple "mini" things would also fall in this category. Generally takes 1-2.5 hours.

m e d i u m $400 - 700

This includes more detailed flash around the size of a sheet of paper, half sleeve modular abstract compositions, most head and neck pieces, or any more detailed half torso or limb piece.

full day

$800 - 1100

This is my day rate for large work, regardless of complexity- so anything we can get done in a day. This may include a sparse and abstracted full torso or full limb, or something loose spanning the whole body.

Can also include a full half sleeve with a lot of black fill, or the first session of a larger/more complex/heavy blackwork full sleeve or torso project.

Multi session work does not have to be a full day unless you want it to be and have capacity to sit for this. We can always split it up into "medium" sized chunks instead.
